Stacy R. Huegerich, MPT, CSCS*
Stacy is a graduate of the University of WI—Madison for both her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology—Exercise Science and her Masters degree in Physical Therapy. A Wisconsin native, Stacy has worked in acute care and outpatient rehab settings. She enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions, and especially enjoys helping patients affected by lower extremity orthopedic and running/triathlon training issues. She also provides specialty services for women of all ages with incontinence of the bladder and bowel, tailbone pain, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse symptoms, cesarean and episiotomy scar pain, vulvodynia, vaginismus, and musculoskeletal pain during and after pregnancy.
Stacy holds a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation from the National Strength & Conditioning Association. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association, with membership in the Orthopedics and Women's Health sections. She enjoys running, cooking, weight lifting, triathlons, gardening and traveling with her husband.
*CSCS: The CSCS designation is an acronym for Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. This designation is achieved by professionals holding at least a bachelor's degree who pass the CSCS examination. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCSs) are professionals who apply scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance. They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.
